Well done to Preston Aquatics Synchro swimmer Daisy who was a member of the Great Britain team that took part in the French Open Championships during March 2018. This was the first Artistic Swimming World Series event of the year and the French Open is now one of the biggest events on the calendar with a number of nations sending their top athletes.

Great Britain was one of three teams that were made up of Juniors and team manager Karen Thorpe commented that “the experience gained ahead of the Junior Europeans and Junior Worlds was invaluable.”

This comes after last year when Daisy was nominated for ‘Synchro Emerging Athlete of the Year’ at the British Swimming Awards.
